To take full advantage of the 2.5GbE networking, your router, switch, and the computer or device you are connecting from must also support 2.5GbE speeds. If your network equipment is limited to 1GbE, the connection will default to that lower speed.

You can use either 3.5-inch HDDs or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs in the four main drive bays. While you can mix drive types across different bays, it is generally recommended to use identical drives within a single RAID volume for optimal performance and reliability.
