The shade is made of hand-blown glass, so it should be handled with care. While the steel base is treated for outdoor durability, we recommend bringing the lantern indoors during severe storms or freezing temperatures to protect the glass and internal components.

No assembly is required. The lantern features an integrated LED and a built-in solar panel, so it is ready to use right out of the box once it has had time to charge in the sun.

While it is designed for outdoor use, you can certainly use it indoors as a decorative accent. Keep in mind that it will only charge if placed in a spot that receives direct, bright sunlight during the day.
