Yes, the device requires a 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi connection to function, as most of its customization features and scheduling are managed through the Hatch Sleep app.

Absolutely. You can program the device to play sounds independently of the light settings, or turn off the light entirely while keeping the sound machine active throughout the night.

The sunrise simulation is programmed to gradually brighten over a set period leading up to your alarm time. If you wake up early, you can manually turn off the light and sound via the app or the touch controls on the device.

The LED clock display is adjustable. You can dim it to your preference or turn it off completely if you prefer a pitch-black room while you sleep.

The Hatch Restore is AC powered and does not include an internal battery backup. If the power goes out, the device will reset once power is restored, though your settings are saved in the cloud via your app account.
