This machine is designed for ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) pods with a 44mm diameter. It is not compatible with Nespresso or other proprietary capsule systems.

The dual heat-exchanger system allows the machine to manage the coffee extraction and steam production independently. This ensures your espresso is brewed at the precise temperature required for extraction while maintaining enough pressure for the steam wand to froth milk effectively.

While the machine features separate switches for energy efficiency, the dual heat-exchanger design is optimized to handle both functions reliably. However, for the best pressure stability, most users prefer to brew the espresso first and then engage the steam function.

The steam wand is straightforward to maintain. We recommend purging the wand by running a quick burst of steam immediately after frothing your milk and wiping the exterior with a damp cloth to prevent milk residue from hardening.

The separate switches are an energy-saving feature. By only powering the heating element you need—either for brewing or for steaming—the machine consumes less electricity and reduces unnecessary wear on the internal components.
