Dartmouth Wool Throw

The Dartmouth Throw is crafted from premium Portuguese wool, which is known for its high quality and soft hand-feel. While it retains the natural texture and warmth of authentic wool, it is designed to be comfortable for lounging rather than abrasive.

Because this is made from 100% natural wool, we recommend dry cleaning to maintain the integrity of the fibers and the hand-finished edges. If you need to spot clean, use a gentle wool-safe detergent and cool water, then lay it flat to air dry.

The throw is produced on traditional looms dating back to the 1960s and 1970s. This slower, mechanical process creates a tighter, more durable weave and a distinct character that modern, high-speed industrial looms simply cannot replicate.

The Dartmouth is intentionally oversized to provide full coverage for lounging on a sofa or layering over a bed. While exact dimensions can vary slightly due to the hand-finishing process, it is designed to be significantly larger than a standard decorative throw.

The swallow bird motif is woven directly into the construction of the throw rather than being applied as a surface embroidery. This ensures the design remains durable and integrated into the fabric's texture over time.
