Breville Espresso Tools

This 7-piece set is specifically engineered for Breville machines that utilize a 54mm portafilter, such as the Barista Express, Barista Pro, Barista Touch, Bambino, and Infuser. It will not fit Breville models that require a 58mm portafilter, like the Oracle or Dual Boiler.

The included tamper is spring-loaded and adjustable, allowing you to set a consistent 30lb tamping pressure every time. This eliminates the guesswork and uneven tamping often associated with the basic plastic tamper that comes with most Breville machines.

The WDT tool uses fine needles to break up clumps in your coffee grounds, ensuring an even density before tamping. The puck screen sits on top of the tamped coffee to help disperse water evenly across the puck, which significantly reduces channeling and improves extraction consistency.

A bottomless portafilter is an excellent learning tool because it exposes any flaws in your grind size or tamping technique by showing you exactly how the espresso extracts. While it can be messy if your technique is off, it provides immediate visual feedback that helps you dial in your shots faster.

The walnut and rosewood components are natural materials and should be hand-washed only. Avoid soaking them in water or putting them in the dishwasher, as this can cause the wood to crack or lose its finish over time.
