Shipping bareroot means the plants are removed from their pots and soil before transit to ensure they remain healthy and prevent rot. Upon arrival, you will need to pot them in a well-draining succulent or cactus mix.

Lithops are extremely drought-tolerant and require very infrequent watering. You should only water them when the tops of the plants appear slightly wrinkled, and always ensure the soil is completely dry before adding more moisture.

While they thrive in bright light, they prefer bright, indirect sunlight to avoid scorching. Placing them on a sunny windowsill is ideal, but avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun which can damage their delicate skin.

Because these are living specimens, each plant is unique in its specific color and mottled pattern. You will receive six healthy, established Lithops that match the general variety and quality shown in the collection.

Lithops require a very gritty, fast-draining soil mix to prevent root rot. A commercial cactus or succulent potting mix amended with extra perlite or pumice is highly recommended.
