This unit is specifically designed for chocolate. While it may technically melt cheese, the heating element is calibrated for the lower melting point of chocolate, so it may not maintain the consistent temperature required for cheese fondue.

Cleanup is straightforward because the serving tray and the melting bowl are both removable. You can wash these parts with warm, soapy water, but be sure to hand-wash them rather than using a dishwasher to preserve the finish.

You can use standard chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bars. For the best, smoothest flow, we recommend using high-quality melting wafers or adding a small amount of oil or heavy cream to your chocolate to ensure it reaches the right consistency.

The set includes four dipping forks, making it ideal for intimate gatherings of two to four people. If you are hosting a larger party, you may want to have extra skewers on hand.

The device features two distinct settings: melting and warming. You will need to switch it to the melting setting to liquefy the chocolate initially, then switch to the warming setting once it is smooth to prevent burning.
