To preserve the wood, hand wash the block with mild soap and water, then dry it immediately. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, and periodically re-apply a food-safe mineral oil to keep the wood conditioned.

While the stainless steel knife is durable, we recommend hand washing it to maintain the integrity of the hand-forged finish and ensure the handle remains in top condition.
