Yes, the 2-1/4” thick American Black Walnut top is designed for both home and commercial use. While it is incredibly durable, we recommend using a separate cutting board on top of the station if you plan on heavy chopping to preserve the integrity and appearance of the Varnique finish.

The optional drop leaf adds 8 inches to the depth of the unit, extending the total width from 28 inches to 36 inches. This is a great feature if you need extra surface area for prep work or casual dining and want to tuck it away when not in use.
