RatX Wood Traps

These are snap-style traps and should be placed in areas inaccessible to children and pets, such as behind appliances, inside cabinets, or within tamper-resistant bait stations.

While the traps are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, wood can warp or degrade when exposed to direct moisture. For outdoor placement, it is best to put them in a sheltered area or inside a protective bait station to maintain their effectiveness.

You do not need an attractant for the traps to function, but using a lure like RatX Attractant spray or a small amount of peanut butter can significantly increase your success rate by drawing rodents toward the trigger.

It is recommended to set multiple traps spaced a few feet apart along walls or areas where you have seen droppings or signs of activity. Rodents tend to travel along edges, so placing several traps increases the likelihood of a quick capture.

These traps are designed as a cost-effective, durable solution, but they are typically treated as disposable after a capture for hygiene and sanitation reasons.
