Miss Tea Matcha Spoon

Bamboo is non-reactive, meaning it won't alter the delicate flavor profile of your matcha. Additionally, the traditional shape is specifically designed to scoop the fine powder cleanly without clumping.

Simply rinse the spoon with warm water after each use and wipe it dry with a clean cloth. Avoid using soap or a dishwasher, as bamboo is a natural material that can warp or absorb chemicals.

For a standard bowl of thin tea (usucha), use two level scoops of matcha. If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can adjust the amount to your personal preference.

To keep the bamboo in good condition, store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If the wood feels dry over time, you can lightly rub it with a food-safe mineral oil to maintain its finish.

While it is designed specifically for the fine consistency of matcha powder, it can technically be used for other powdered ingredients. However, it is not suitable for standard loose-leaf teas, which are too bulky for the small scoop size.
