While the stainless steel construction is durable, we recommend hand-washing the pot with warm water and mild soap. Dishwashers can be harsh on the finish and may cause the seals to degrade faster over time.

The handle is designed to stay cool during the brewing process, but it is always best to use a low-to-medium flame on your stovetop. If the flame is too high and creeps up the sides of the pot, the handle may become warm to the touch.
