Pure-aniline leather is the highest quality grade, meaning the hide is dyed without any protective topcoat. This results in an incredibly soft, natural feel, but it also means the leather will show natural markings and develop a unique patina over time as it is exposed to light and use.

Because this leather is untreated, it is susceptible to oils and liquids. We recommend dusting it regularly with a soft, dry cloth and using a high-quality leather conditioner specifically formulated for aniline leather every six to twelve months to prevent drying.

The feather-down blend provides a plush, 'sink-in' comfort rather than a firm, structured feel. You will need to occasionally fluff and rotate the cushions to maintain their shape and loft over time.

Kiln-drying removes moisture from the wood, which prevents the frame from warping, cracking, or splitting as it ages. This process ensures the structural integrity of the sofa remains sound for years to come.

Assembly is straightforward and primarily involves attaching the mahogany legs to the base of the frame. You should be able to complete the process with basic tools in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Leather is a natural material, so slight variations in color, texture, and grain pattern are expected and part of its character. The exact shade may appear slightly different depending on the lighting in your home.
