The wide, rounded bowl of the balloon glass provides a large surface area, which allows the wine to breathe more effectively. This aeration helps release complex aromas and softens tannins, making it particularly well-suited for full-bodied red wines.

Because this is crafted from handblown crystal, we recommend hand washing with warm water and a gentle detergent to maintain its clarity and prevent breakage. Avoid harsh cycles and high-heat drying to keep the glass in pristine condition.

Deep etching creates a permanent, sophisticated frosted texture by cutting into the surface of the crystal. It is a high-quality customization method that adds a tactile, premium feel to the glass without compromising its structural integrity.

While the glass holds 22 ounces, it is designed to be filled only to the widest point of the bowl, typically around 5 to 6 ounces. This allows enough room for the wine to swirl and release its bouquet without spilling.
