In its standard 76-inch configuration, the table comfortably seats six people. When fully extended to 118 inches using both leaves, it can accommodate up to 10 or 12 guests depending on your chair width.

Aproned leaves feature a matching wood skirt that aligns with the table's frame. This design creates a seamless, finished look when the table is extended, hiding the mechanism and providing a more formal appearance than standard flat leaves.

The table is finished with burnishing and hand wax, which gives it a soft luster. To maintain the wood, use a soft, lint-free cloth for dusting and avoid harsh chemical cleaners or excessive moisture, which can strip the wax coating.

The ebonized inlay is integrated into the mahogany construction, making it durable for daily use. Like any fine wood furniture, it is best to use placemats or coasters to protect the surface from heat and moisture, which helps preserve the inlay's crisp detail over time.
