The hardwoods vary primarily in grain pattern, hardness, and color consistency. For example, Oak and Hickory offer prominent, bold grain patterns and high durability, while Brown Maple and Cherry provide a smoother, more uniform finish that darkens beautifully over time.

The table is available as a solid top or with up to two 12-inch leaves. Depending on your chosen base size, these leaves allow you to expand the surface area to accommodate extra guests, though the specific expansion capacity may be limited by the initial dimensions of the table you select.

The Settler's Pub Table is designed at a standard pub height to pair with bar-height stools. The height is fixed during construction and is not adjustable after assembly.

For high-traffic areas, we recommend harder woods like Hickory, Hard Maple, or 1/4 Sawn White Oak. These species are naturally more resistant to dents and scratches, making them ideal for households that use their table daily.

While there is an extensive selection of stains available, some stains interact differently with the natural undertones of specific woods. We recommend viewing samples of your chosen stain on your preferred wood species to ensure the final color meets your expectations.

The table typically arrives in sections to ensure safe transport. While basic assembly is required to attach the legs or base to the tabletop, the process is straightforward and can generally be completed with standard household tools.
