The 24-inch stool is designed for standard counter-height surfaces, typically around 36 inches high. The 30-inch stool is intended for bar-height surfaces, which are usually 42 inches high. Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter or bar top to ensure you have at least 10 to 12 inches of legroom.
