The bowed end refers to a gentle curve on the two shorter ends of the table rather than a perfectly straight edge. This design softens the silhouette of the table and provides a more elegant, traditional look compared to a standard rectangular top.

The table can accommodate up to four 18-inch leaves. Depending on the base size you choose and how many leaves you insert, the table can comfortably seat anywhere from 6 to 12 people.

The table offers an optional 18-inch butterfly leaf, which folds and stores directly inside the table for easy access. If you choose standard leaves, they will need to be stored separately when not in use.

Hardwoods like Hard Maple, Hickory, and Quarter Sawn White Oak are excellent choices for high-traffic areas due to their superior density and resistance to dents. If you prefer a more rustic aesthetic that hides wear well, consider Rustic Hickory or Rustic Walnut.

Standard wood species are selected for a clean, uniform appearance with minimal knots or mineral streaks. Rustic options intentionally feature natural characteristics like knots, color variations, and mineral deposits to provide a more organic, textured look.

The table typically arrives with the legs detached to ensure safe transport. You will need to attach the legs to the skirt using the provided hardware, which is a straightforward process that requires only basic tools.
