Harper Bar Stool

The 24-inch stool is designed for standard counter-height surfaces, typically around 36 inches high. The 30-inch stool is intended for bar-height surfaces, which are usually 42 inches high. Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter to ensure you have at least 10 to 12 inches of legroom.

A stationary base is fixed in place, offering the most stability. The 360-degree swivel allows for full rotation, while the memory swivel is designed to automatically return the seat to its original forward-facing position when not in use, keeping your space looking tidy.

For high-traffic areas, leather is often the most practical choice because it is durable and easy to wipe clean. Wood seats are also highly durable and offer a classic look, though they may be less comfortable for long periods of sitting compared to upholstered options.

The stretcher covers provide a functional benefit by protecting the wood footrest from scuffs, scratches, and wear caused by shoes. Choosing a metal finish like nickel or black can also add a modern design element to the stool's base.

All available wood species are hardwoods suitable for furniture, but they vary in grain pattern and hardness. Red Oak is known for its prominent grain and high durability, while Brown Maple offers a smoother, more uniform texture that takes stains exceptionally well.

Because these stools are handcrafted from natural wood, each piece will feature unique grain patterns, knots, and mineral streaks. These natural variations are a hallmark of authentic Amish craftsmanship and mean no two stools will be identical.
