While the sideboard is constructed from sturdy hardwood, it is designed primarily for decorative display and storage. We recommend keeping heavy items centered to ensure stability, though it is built to easily support standard decor like lamps, vases, or serving platters.

The sideboard arrives fully assembled. The self-closing glides are factory-calibrated, so you should not need to make any adjustments to the drawer mechanisms.

The velvet lining is permanently integrated into the drawers to provide a secure, cushioned space for delicate items like silverware or linens. It is best cleaned by gently vacuuming with an upholstery attachment if dust accumulates.

The unit is quite substantial, so we recommend placing felt pads under the base before positioning it in your room. This will protect your flooring and make it easier to slide the piece into its final location.
