This bed is designed to accommodate a standard mattress and box spring foundation. If you prefer using only a mattress, you may need to add a bunkie board or a platform insert to provide the necessary support.

The bed is constructed with traditional joinery techniques for maximum stability. While it is designed for straightforward assembly, the solid wood components are heavy, so we recommend having two people present to safely handle and align the headboard and side rails.

To maintain the finish, simply dust the bed regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or furniture polishes with silicone, as these can build up over time and dull the natural luster of the wood.
