This piece is constructed from 100% solid hardwood, including the 1-inch thick top and the drawer boxes. No particle board or veneers are used in its construction.

The drawers are built with full-extension slides and dovetailed joinery, which are designed to support heavy daily use. While we don't provide a specific pound-limit rating, the construction is robust enough to handle standard office or dining storage needs.

The hutch is designed to sit securely atop the base, but because of its significant size and weight, we recommend having two people assist with the assembly and placement. It is a substantial piece of furniture that requires careful handling.

Each wood species offers a distinct grain pattern and stain receptivity. Red Oak and Quarter Sawn White Oak provide prominent, textured grain, while Cherry and Brown Maple offer a smoother, more uniform appearance that takes stains very evenly.

The standard configuration includes full-extension slides for smooth operation, allowing you to access the entire depth of the drawer. Please verify if your specific order includes the optional soft-close upgrade, as standard slides may require a gentle touch to close fully.

At 98 inches wide, this is a very large piece of furniture. Before purchasing, ensure you have measured your wall space and accounted for the 24-inch depth, as well as clearance for the drawers and doors to open fully.
