Yes. Unlike traditional beeswax wraps, EarthShopp wraps use carnauba wax, jojoba oil, and tree resin to create a protective seal, making them entirely plant-based.

The warmth from your hands is the key. Simply wrap the material around your food or container and hold it in place for a few seconds; the heat softens the wax, allowing it to mold and create a secure seal as it cools.

Wash the wraps in cool water using a mild, eco-friendly soap. Avoid hot water, dishwashers, and microwaves, as high temperatures will melt the wax coating and ruin the wrap.

With proper care, you can expect these wraps to last up to one year. Once the wax coating begins to wear down and no longer seals effectively, you can compost the organic cotton base.

It is not recommended to use these wraps for raw meat or fish. Because the wraps are washed in cool water rather than sanitized with high heat, they are best suited for produce, bread, cheese, and dry snacks.
