The bed is crafted from solid natural wood. You can choose from six different species, including Brown Maple, Cherry, Red Oak, Maple, White Oak, and Walnut, to best suit your interior palette.

Because each bed is made to order, it is built specifically for your request rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf. This ensures heirloom-quality craftsmanship and allows for the personalized selection of wood species.

The ribbed texture is integrated into the design for a tactile experience. While it adds visual depth, it can be easily maintained by using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush attachment on your vacuum to remove dust from the grooves.

The bed is designed with a sturdy solid wood frame. Depending on your preferred mattress height, you will likely need a low-profile box spring or a bunkie board to provide the necessary support and reach the desired aesthetic height.

Eased corners are a hallmark of high-quality woodworking that reduces the risk of sharp impact damage. By softening these edges, the wood is less prone to splintering or denting over time, contributing to the bed's long-term durability.

The brushed finish is intentionally textured to provide a matte, organic look. This finish is generally more forgiving than a high-gloss lacquer, as the natural grain and texture help camouflage minor surface wear that occurs with daily use.
