The wood species vary in both grain pattern and hardness. For example, Oak and Quarter Sawn White Oak offer prominent, distinct grain textures, while Brown Maple and Cherry provide a smoother, more uniform appearance. Harder woods like Hickory and Walnut offer superior resistance to dents and scratches compared to softer options.

The table is available with either a solid top or with up to two 12-inch leaves. These leaves allow you to expand the surface area for larger gatherings and can be removed and stored separately when not in use to maintain the table's original footprint.

To ensure comfortable seating and movement, allow at least 30 to 36 inches of clearance between the edge of the table and your walls or other furniture. A 48-inch table is ideal for smaller breakfast nooks, while the 60-inch option provides a more spacious dining experience for larger rooms.

To maintain the finish, wipe the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth and dry it immediately. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or furniture polishes containing silicone, as these can build up over time and dull the natural luster of the wood.

While many finishes are designed to highlight the natural characteristics of specific woods like Oak, some stains may appear differently depending on the grain and porosity of the species selected. It is best to consider how the stain interacts with the natural color tones of your chosen wood.
