While it is designed as part of a modular sectional system, it can technically function as a standalone corner chair. However, keep in mind that the frame is intended to connect with other Bonan modules to create a cohesive lounge arrangement.

The QuickDry foam is engineered with an open-cell structure that allows water to pass through the cushion rather than absorbing it. This significantly reduces drying time compared to standard outdoor cushions, though we still recommend tilting them on their side after a downpour to speed up the process.

The Bonan Lounge Sofa is built for year-round outdoor use with weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric and an aluminum frame. While it can withstand the elements, using a furniture cover during the off-season will help keep the cushions clean and extend the overall lifespan of the materials.

The aluminum frame is durable and sturdy, but it is relatively lightweight compared to iron or steel. If you live in an area with extreme wind gusts, you may want to consider placing the sofa in a sheltered area or using furniture clips to secure the modules together.

Sunbrella fabric is highly durable and easy to maintain. For routine cleaning, brush off loose dirt and spot clean with a mild soap and water solution; for deeper cleaning, the covers can typically be removed and machine washed on a gentle cycle.
