The teak lid is designed to protect your items from light rain and debris, but it is not airtight or fully waterproof. We recommend storing only weather-resistant items inside if the table is kept in an unsheltered outdoor area.

Teak will naturally develop a silvery-gray patina over time when exposed to the elements. If you prefer to maintain the original honey-brown color, you will need to apply a high-quality teak oil or sealer periodically.

The aluminum frame is robust and stable for standard patio use, but it is relatively lightweight compared to iron or concrete. If you live in an area with extreme wind gusts, you may want to place it in a sheltered corner or against a wall.

Cane-line Tex is highly durable and easy to clean. Simply wipe the interior with a soft cloth, lukewarm water, and a mild soap solution to remove any dust or residue.

While the table is structurally sound, it is primarily designed as a side table and storage unit. We do not recommend using it as a seat, as the lid is not intended to support the weight of an adult.
