This clock utilizes a standard quartz movement, which typically requires a single small button-cell or AA battery depending on the specific internal housing. You can easily access the battery compartment from the back of the crystal face.

Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently wipe the crystal face to avoid scratches. For the wooden base, a light dusting or a specialized wood polish applied to a cloth will maintain its finish without damaging the surrounding crystal.

The clock is designed as a cohesive unit with the crystal face set into the wooden base. It is not intended to be disassembled, so we recommend keeping the components together to maintain the integrity of the piece.
