No. Because of the traditional Raku firing process, each piece develops unique, unpredictable patterns and color variations. You should expect your coaster to have its own distinct character rather than being an exact replica.

These coasters are made of fired ceramic, which is naturally durable and heat-resistant. While they protect your surfaces from moisture and heat, they do not have the high-porosity absorption of sandstone, so you may want to wipe away excess condensation occasionally.

The coasters are finished to be smooth, but as with any ceramic decor, we recommend checking the underside for any rough edges. If you are concerned about delicate surfaces, you can easily apply small adhesive felt pads to the bottom.

You can clean the surface by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the unique glaze finish created during the Raku firing.

Measuring 4" x 4", these coasters are sized for standard drinkware. They comfortably accommodate most coffee mugs, tumblers, and wine glasses, though very large oversized mugs may have some overhang.
