Beadworx Bird Ornament

Each piece is handcrafted by artisans in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti, using recycled steel oil drums. The metal is cut, shaped, and painted to create the final bird motif.

While the ornament is coated in a protective gloss varnish, it is primarily designed for indoor decor. If placed outdoors, it should be kept in a sheltered area to prevent potential weathering or rust over time.

Because each piece is individually crafted from recycled materials, there may be slight variations in the metalwork or paint application. These unique characteristics are a hallmark of the artisanal process.

This certification ensures that the artisans are paid fair wages and work in safe conditions. It confirms that the production process supports sustainable practices and respects the cultural heritage of the Haitian metalworking community.

You can maintain the ornament by gently wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the protective gloss varnish.
