Simon Pearce Waterbury Hurricane

The Waterbury Hurricane is designed to accommodate both pillar and taper candles. It comes with a 3" x 4" ivory pillar candle, but you can easily swap it for other styles as long as they fit within the 6¾" width.

The hurricane features a double-gathered glass technique that creates optical overlaps. These overlaps refract the light, causing the flame to appear more dynamic and diffused compared to standard clear glass.

It is crafted from durable, lead-free glass using traditional glassblowing techniques. While it is a high-quality decorative piece, it is sturdy enough for regular use on a dining table or mantel.

To remove wax, gently scrape away any hardened residue with a plastic tool to avoid scratching the glass. You can then wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, ensuring it is completely dry before lighting a new candle.

Because this hurricane is handmade using signature glassblowing techniques, there may be slight variations in the glass thickness or the specific pattern of the gathered design. These small differences are a hallmark of the artisanal process.
