To keep the ribbed velvet looking its best, we recommend professional dry cleaning. If you must spot clean, use a soft, damp cloth and gently dab the area without rubbing to avoid crushing the velvet pile.

The velvet has a substantial weight that helps it drape beautifully over the edges of your table. While the ribbed detailing adds texture, the fabric is designed to settle smoothly across the surface once placed.

For an elegant look, we recommend a drop of 6 to 10 inches on each side of your table. Measure your table's length and width, then add 12 to 20 inches to each dimension to find your ideal tablecloth size.

As with any light-colored textile, the creamy white hue is more susceptible to visible spills. We suggest using this tablecloth for formal gatherings or special occasions where you can monitor for spills, rather than for daily high-traffic use.

We advise against using a traditional iron directly on the velvet, as the heat can flatten the ribbed texture. If creases are present, a light steam from a garment steamer held a few inches away from the fabric is the safest way to smooth it out.
