The 'Wintersun' cultivar is specifically noted for having a lighter, sweeter scent. If you find traditional paperwhites too pungent or overwhelming, this variety offers a much more subtle and pleasant fragrance.

You have both options. These bulbs can be grown in a shallow container with stones and water, or planted in a traditional potting mix. Both methods will produce healthy, 12-16 inch stems.

To achieve continuous blooms, use a staggered planting schedule. By planting a few bulbs every two weeks starting in early December, you can enjoy a steady succession of flowers well into the spring.

Keep the bulbs in their original packaging or a breathable container in a dark, cool location at room temperature. They can be stored this way for several weeks, making them ideal for holiday gifting or timing your display for a specific event.

Paperwhites thrive in high-light conditions. To prevent the stems from becoming too tall and floppy, place your pots in the brightest spot available in your home, such as a sunny windowsill.

Once planted, you can typically expect to see blooms within 4 to 6 weeks. If you plant them in early December, you will have fresh flowers ready for the heart of the winter season.
