The fabric itself is waterproof, and the seams are taped, which provides a high level of weather resistance. However, it is not considered fully submersible, so we recommend using a pack liner or dry bags for critical items like your sleeping bag.

Hyperlite uses DCH50 for the main body to keep the weight down, while the bottom panel uses the thicker, more abrasion-resistant DCH150. This strategic layering ensures the pack can handle being set down on rough granite or roots without tearing.
