Yes, 100% European flax linen is durable and machine washable. We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with like colors and either tumble drying on low or line drying to maintain the fabric's integrity.

Yarn-dyed means the individual threads are dyed before they are woven into the gingham pattern. This results in a deeper, more saturated color that is resistant to fading, ensuring the pattern stays crisp even after repeated washes.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX certification means this tablecloth has been independently tested and verified to be free from harmful levels of over 100 substances known to be dangerous to human health. It ensures the textile is safe for direct contact with food and skin.

Because the fabric is garment-washed during production, most of the initial shrinkage has already occurred. However, as with all natural linen, you may experience very minor shrinkage if exposed to high heat, so we recommend cool or warm water washing and low-heat drying.
