While the plant arrives in a pot, it is designed for aquatic margins and bog environments. You can keep it in the pot for easier maintenance or transplant it directly into your pond's bog area or marginal shelf.

Creeping Jenny is highly effective at absorbing excess nutrients. When placed in an up-flow bog system, it actively filters and removes nitrates from the water, which helps maintain a healthier, clearer pond environment.

The pot selection is primarily based on your specific planting space. The 6-inch tall pot is better suited for deeper marginal shelves, while the 8-inch short pot provides a wider base for stability in shallower areas or bog filters.

Creeping Jenny is a vigorous grower and will spread if left unchecked. We recommend monitoring its growth in your pond margins and trimming it back occasionally to ensure it doesn't crowd out other aquatic plants.

In most pond environments, the plant will draw sufficient nutrients directly from the water. If you notice slow growth or yellowing leaves, you can provide occasional aquatic plant fertilizer, but it is generally not required if the plant is established in a nutrient-rich bog system.
