The sandblasting process removes the softer grain of the wood, leaving behind a tactile, textured surface. This finish highlights the natural beauty of the American white oak while making the table more forgiving of minor scratches or daily wear.

The 48-inch table comfortably seats four, the 60-inch version accommodates six, and the 72-inch table can seat up to ten guests. Keep in mind that chair width will ultimately determine the exact number of people you can fit around the perimeter.

The table is constructed using a combination of kiln-dried solid hardwood for the structural frame and American white oak veneers for the surfaces. This hybrid construction provides the aesthetic of solid oak while increasing the table's resistance to warping or splitting over time.

The overhang varies by size, with the 48-inch table offering an 11-inch overhang and the 72-inch table providing a 14-inch overhang. These dimensions ensure that guests have ample space to tuck their chairs in comfortably without hitting their knees on the base.

While the texture is subtle, it is not deep enough to trap significant debris. You can easily clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth, though we recommend using placemats or coasters to prevent food particles from settling into the grain.
