The Modrest Cartier Bed is designed with a robust frame that supports up to 1100 lbs. It requires a box spring or a bunkie board to properly support your mattress, as it does not feature a platform-style slat system.

To keep the beige velvet looking its best, vacuum it regularly with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. For minor spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; avoid rubbing the fabric to prevent crushing the velvet pile.

The brushed brass accents are made from stainless steel, which is resistant to tarnishing. While the finish is durable, it can show fingerprints, so we recommend wiping it down occasionally with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to maintain its luster.

The bed sits relatively low to the ground to maintain its modern, sleek profile. You will have minimal clearance underneath, so it is not suitable for under-bed storage bins.

The headboard is fully integrated into the bed frame structure and is freestanding. It does not require any wall mounting, making it a great option for rooms where you prefer not to drill into the walls.

Assembly is required and involves connecting the headboard, footboard, and side rails. Because of the substantial weight and size of the components, we recommend having two people assist with the setup to ensure the frame is aligned and tightened correctly.
