A wallhugger mechanism is designed to recline while moving forward rather than backward. This allows you to place the chair just a few inches from a wall, making it an ideal choice for smaller living spaces or apartments where floor space is limited.

The 2-motor system allows you to independently adjust the recline angle and the headrest position. The 3-motor upgrade adds a dedicated power lumbar support feature, which is recommended if you prefer extra lower-back contouring and adjustability.

The Astoria uses high-resiliency, high-density foam cores wrapped in a feather/fiber blend. This combination provides a supportive, firm sit that maintains its shape over time while offering a soft, plush feel on the surface.

The Astoria typically arrives with the backrest detached to make maneuvering through doorways easier. The back slides into place on metal brackets without the need for tools, allowing for a quick and simple setup.
