POLYWOOD Heritage™ Lumber is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic made from recycled materials. It is engineered to look like painted wood while being completely weather-resistant, meaning it won't rot, crack, or splinter when left outdoors.

While the set is designed to withstand harsh weather, using a cover can help keep it clean and free of debris. However, it is not strictly necessary, as the material is resistant to fading and moisture damage year-round.

The set measures 105 inches wide by 70 inches long. You should allow for at least 30 to 36 inches of clearance around the perimeter of the table to ensure guests can comfortably pull out chairs and move around the benches.

The set arrives unassembled and requires basic tools to put together. Most users find the process straightforward, though having a second person to help position the larger table and bench components makes the job much easier.

Maintenance is simple. You can clean the set using a soft-bristle brush, mild soap, and warm water. For stubborn spots, a pressure washer on a low setting is safe to use on the Heritage™ Lumber.

The 20-year warranty covers the structural integrity of the furniture, protecting against defects in materials and workmanship. It ensures that the lumber will not crack, splinter, chip, peel, or rot under normal residential use.
