The finish is a lightly antiqued gold leaf, which offers a softer, more sophisticated look than a high-shine or polished gold. It has a subtle, aged quality that blends well with both modern and traditional decor styles.

The mirror interior can be cleaned just like any standard glass surface. We recommend using a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth and a gentle glass cleaner to avoid scratching the surface or damaging the surrounding iron frame.

Because the frame is constructed from hand-forged iron, the tray is quite substantial and durable. It weighs 11 pounds on its own, making it a stable base for heavier items like books, vases, or barware.

The acrylic bars are primarily a design element that adds visual interest and a modern, architectural frame to the piece. While they provide a slight edge to keep items contained, they are not designed to act as high-sided walls for heavy containment.

While the tray is heavy, it is designed for tabletop use. To be safe, we recommend placing small felt pads or adhesive furniture bumpers on the underside of the iron frame if you are concerned about potential scratching on delicate wood or glass surfaces.
