Reclaimed teak is highly prized for outdoor use because it is naturally rich in oils, making it exceptionally resistant to rot, moisture, and insects. Over time, the wood will naturally weather to a silvery-gray patina if left untreated, though its structural integrity remains intact.

The truss-reinforced legs provide superior lateral stability and weight distribution compared to standard straight-leg benches. This design ensures the bench remains sturdy and wobble-free, even when fully occupied.

The bench is designed for straightforward assembly. All necessary hardware and instructions are included to attach the legs to the seat frame securely.

If you prefer to maintain the original honey-brown color, you can apply a high-quality teak oil or sealer periodically. If you prefer the weathered gray look, no maintenance is required other than occasional cleaning with mild soap and water.
