Champro Quilted Base

This 14-inch base is designed for fastpitch softball and recreational play. While it meets standard size requirements for many youth and recreational leagues, you should always check your specific league's rulebook regarding base dimensions and material requirements before purchasing.

The base includes two spikes that anchor it firmly into the ground. Additionally, it features two web straps and buckles, which help secure the base to the ground anchor system, preventing shifting during aggressive play.

The base features a PVC-coated nylon cover, which is water-resistant and durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions. However, for the longest lifespan, we recommend storing the bases indoors or in a dry equipment shed when not in use to prevent unnecessary wear from prolonged exposure to the elements.

The quilted design provides extra structural integrity and helps the base maintain its shape over time. This construction prevents the corners from curling or the foam core from sagging, ensuring the base remains flat and safe for players.

The base comes with the spikes needed for mounting, but it does not include the permanent ground anchor plugs that are typically buried in the field. You will need an existing ground anchor system to attach these bases properly.
