You can choose between a low wood footboard, which offers a more open and streamlined look, or a tall, arched upholstered footboard that matches the headboard for a more cohesive, dramatic aesthetic.

There is 8.25 inches of clearance beneath the side rails. This provides enough room for low-profile storage bins or for a vacuum to pass underneath easily.

The headboard is covered in a heathered oatmeal polyester blend. This material is chosen for its durability and resistance to wear, though we recommend spot cleaning with a mild, water-free solvent if a spill occurs.

The elm veneer features moderate distressing and a glaze, which gives the wood a lived-in, Old World character. Because of this, you should expect natural variations in the grain and finish that make each piece unique.
