While designed specifically for the WORX Landroid boundary wire system, these stakes are generally compatible with most standard robotic mower boundary wires that use a similar gauge and installation method.

A general rule of thumb is to place a stake every 2 to 3 feet along straightaways and more frequently around corners or curves to ensure the wire stays tight against the ground. With 60 stakes included, this kit is sufficient for most small to medium-sized residential lawn perimeters.

These stakes are made from impact-resistant nylon, which offers good durability, but they are designed to be flush with the ground to avoid interference. While they are tough, you should still exercise caution when using string trimmers or edgers near the boundary wire to prevent accidental damage to the wire itself.

No special tools are required. The stakes are designed to be pushed into the soil by hand, though a rubber mallet can be helpful if you are working with particularly hard or compacted ground.

UV protection prevents the nylon material from becoming brittle and cracking after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. This ensures the stakes maintain their structural integrity and grip on the wire season after season.
