While the tray is food-safe, it is primarily designed as a decorative accent piece. We recommend using it for dry items like fruit or wrapped treats rather than direct contact with wet or acidic foods to preserve the hand-painted finish.

To keep the tray in top condition, wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, or submerging it in water, as these can damage the intricate hand-painted design.

It is best suited for indoor use. Exposure to direct sunlight, humidity, or rain can cause the paint to fade or the iron to oxidize over time.

The tray features a smooth iron base, but it does not come with felt pads attached. If you are placing it on a delicate surface like polished wood or glass, we recommend adding small adhesive felt bumpers to the bottom for extra protection.
