Yes, the mill is designed to handle either rock salt or black peppercorns. However, it is recommended to dedicate one mill to a single spice to avoid flavor cross-contamination.

This mill is intended for dry rock salt and black peppercorns only. Do not use sea salt, wet salt, dried wet salt, or pink peppercorns, as these can damage the ceramic grinding mechanism.

The mill is operated manually. Simply twist the top section in a clockwise motion to activate the ceramic grinder and dispense your spice.

The mill features a high-gloss lacquered finish achieved through eight coats of hand-polished lacquer over FSC-certified rubber wood. To maintain the finish, wipe it clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid using harsh chemical cleaners.
