While it is a fascinating species, Nepenthes jamban is generally considered better for intermediate growers. It requires consistent high humidity and specific light conditions to thrive, which can be challenging for those new to carnivorous plants.

Because this species requires high humidity to develop its signature pitcher traps, it is best suited for a terrarium or a dedicated greenhouse environment. Growing it in an open room often leads to dry conditions that prevent the plant from producing pitchers.

Nepenthes jamban prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, but ensure it receives enough light to maintain its vibrant color and support trap development.

This is a small-sized specimen, making it ideal for terrariums where space is limited. While it will grow over time, its compact nature allows it to remain manageable in a controlled environment for quite a while.
