Polycarbonate panels are significantly more impact-resistant and safer than glass, as they won't shatter if struck. While they offer excellent light transmission, they are lighter in weight, which makes the structure easier to assemble but potentially more susceptible to high winds if not properly anchored.

While a permanent concrete foundation is the most stable option, it is not strictly required. You can secure the greenhouse to a wooden frame or directly into the ground using heavy-duty stakes, provided the site is level and well-drained.

The single manual roof vent is essential for preventing heat buildup during the day. However, in very hot climates, you may need to open the door in addition to the vent to ensure adequate cross-ventilation and prevent your plants from overheating.

Assembly does require some patience and basic tools, as there are many components to piece together. It is highly recommended to have at least two people working on the project, especially when installing the polycarbonate panels and the frame structure.

This greenhouse is designed to extend your growing season, but it is not insulated for extreme winter temperatures. If you live in a region with harsh winters, you may need to supplement with a portable heater or use it primarily for starting seedlings in the early spring.
